SUMMER IS OVER
CommentIts getting chilly, autumn is well on it's way, and I'm looking through photos from last year...
Amsterdam
CommentThere is a lot to see in Amsterdam. Look up, look down, look all around. You won't be disappointed. The cobble stone streets, and paths are gorgeous, not to mention, full of surprises.

Amsterdam
CommentAfter graduating from the Photography program at Humber in spring 2015, my first destination was Spain. However, I did have a layover in Amsterdam, and got the chance to explore a little. One of the first things I noticed coming out of the central station, bikes, everywhere...
Anna again
CommentHere is a before and after. This is an example of what I may do in photoshop.
I think it's funny how eyes see differently every day. I think it has to do with your mood/ mindset, and the colour of the light you are sitting in. You could sit down to edit the same photo on four different days, and I'd bet that each of those four edits came out differently. More yellow, more green... Maybe only slightly, possibly hugely. Either way, funny.
Anna
CommentMy friend Anna came over this past week. We went for a walk in the neighbourhood, and I preserved a couple moments with her.
Assisting
CommentAfter graduating, the first job I had was being a second shooter/ assistant at a wedding. I loved this shot even though it wasn't of the bride and groom.
I also fell in love with these shots of the best man holding his baby girl.
Milan in May
1 CommentMay 2015, I took a trip to Milan to visit this lovely woman, Veronica. We have been best friends for years. I shot this at the top of the Duomo in Milan. We took the stairs to the top to catch the last light.
We were messing around in Veronica's bedroom, and she struck a pose. Yah the glasses are scratched up, but it was fun. I got this ring light attachment for my speed light. It's alright, I need to practice with it more.
Veronica and I almost at the top of the Duomo. Photo cred goes to the 500 year old solid Duomo railing.
Boom Headshot
CommentThis is James. We went to high school together, but haven't really seen each other since. He had wanted some pictures done. After warming up a bit, we had a little fun.
I shot these yesterday. I brought them into camera raw only to crop, sharpen, and vignette.
What a handsome smile, eh?
Waterfall Adventures
1 CommentI hate it when people have to stand in your shot, and even when you ask them to move, they are still in it.
Hilton Falls in October.
I love tree roots. They create such an enchanted environment.
It's fun to be lost in a place like this.

1 CommentThis was at Weston Falls in Milton, September 2015.

I shot my first live show
1 CommentA while back a friend of mine invited me to a show his band (CREATURES) was playing at. It was my first time shooting a live show, and it was pretty fun. The light show, the colours these guys bring to the stage, there's nothing like a live show.
CREATURES. This was at Rock Pile in Toronto.
The lead singer of CREATURES, Rob Esposito. His voice, his face, the lights, what an atmosphere.
It's been a while

success, photography, blogCommentCome one, come all to the Humber College Graduate Photography Exhibition. Come see what we have accomplished after two years of hard work.
The Car
blog, photography, CarsCommentThis was one of our few commercial assignments in second year. We had to shoot a toy car, and a real location separately. Then we had to put them together, and this is what came of my assignment.
I used the car from the image on the top left, the location from the centre left, and the sky from the bottom left (my result shown on right).
Considering that I came into this program knowing nothing about photoshop, I think I did a pretty decent job.
A little more abstract
photography, blog, artCommentSome more shots from this morning. Messed with the colour and saturation. I like the way they kind of look like paintings.
Lake Ontario...
photography, blog, NatureComment...was on fire this morning (haha), not really though... but it looked cool. Walked down to the lake at 8am, it was FREEZING outside.
