Come one, come all to the Humber College Graduate Photography Exhibition. Come see what we have accomplished after two years of hard work.

The Car
blog, photography, CarsCommentThis was one of our few commercial assignments in second year. We had to shoot a toy car, and a real location separately. Then we had to put them together, and this is what came of my assignment.
I used the car from the image on the top left, the location from the centre left, and the sky from the bottom left (my result shown on right).
Considering that I came into this program knowing nothing about photoshop, I think I did a pretty decent job.
A little more abstract
photography, blog, artCommentSome more shots from this morning. Messed with the colour and saturation. I like the way they kind of look like paintings.
Lake Ontario...
photography, blog, NatureComment...was on fire this morning (haha), not really though... but it looked cool. Walked down to the lake at 8am, it was FREEZING outside.
Oh wow
photography, blog, artCommentYesterday was such a long day. Started with going to shoot some model suites, then interning at my old high school, and to top it all off, assisting on a headshot session.
Today, I have to go in to school early to hand in a bunch of assignments, but it is going to feel so good when its over.
Here is a detail shot I liked from yesterday...
New Happenings!
photography, blog1 CommentThis past Sunday, I had the opportunity to assist a photographer on a personal shoot. He and his wife are working on a pregnancy progress project together (congrats you two!). It was my first time meeting him, and his wife, but it went well. I learned, and had fun.
Furthermore, I got to photograph the beautiful new mother myself. What's even better is she liked my photo (on right). There's nothing more fulfilling.
I am the youngest one in my family, so I am not used to being around pregnant women or small children, so posing her had me lost in the beginning. With some guidance from my mentor I was able to tackle the situation better.
This experience was beautiful, I would love to do it again.
I made a website!
photography, success, blogCommentFinally, I made a website. I decided to skip the separate blog, and just have one on here. I don't have a lot of photos up just yet, but there will be soon.
That's one weight lifted off my shoulders! I am doing the best I can, but I am struggling to get the internship hours I need. That is my biggest concern right now. Thankfully, I am going to meet with a photographer to do a little shoot tomorrow. That will put me one step closer to completing my hours than I am today. Trying to keep positive.
